As a devoted mother of two and proud Nana to seven, I find immense joy in capturing life’s special moments through my camera. My deep passion for photography, combined with my love for travel, inspires the images you see on this site. This hobby not only brings me happiness but continually fuels my creativity.
During high school, I seized the opportunity to earn a trade certificate, choosing to become a legal secretary. I attended an adult trade school alongside my regular studies, and upon graduation, I held both my high school diploma and trade certificate.
While I initially pursued a university degree in piano performance, I soon realized that the demanding and competitive nature of the field wasn’t the right fit for me. This led me to rediscover my passion for the law. Since then, I’ve dedicated my career to the legal profession. I began my journey in San Diego and later moved to Los Angeles, where I have spent the majority of my career as a senior paralegal.
My transition from legal secretary to paralegal and then senior paralegal was a gradual process, driven by increasing responsibilities assigned by my attorneys. By the mid-1990s, I was balancing roles as both a legal secretary and paralegal for a construction lawyer in San Diego, where I honed my skills over eight years. This period was both challenging and rewarding, as it allowed me to tackle more complex paralegal tasks and advance my career.
After relocating to Los Angeles, I joined the Kolodny Law Group and achieved my NALA Paralegal Certification in 2008. While at Kleeman Kremen in 2018, I furthered my expertise by earning my Advanced NALA Certification in Discovery and my California Specialization in Discovery.
As a senior paralegal with over 40 years of experience in high-conflict litigation, I have demonstrated that determination and resilience can overcome any obstacle, even the lack of a college degree. My journey includes supporting solo practitioners and working in law firms ranging from 10 to 100 attorneys, has taught me how to interact effectively with diverse people. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to the principle that this is a service business. Navigating the delicate balance in high-conflict divorce requires insights beyond what can be learned from textbooks.
I focus on understanding and anticipating needs, allowing me to be proactive in problem-solving and giving you confidence in handling any situation.

"I became acquainted with Anette during the time she was employed by Kolodny Law Group from 1997 to 2017. I have known Anette in a professional capacity since approximately 2003... I know that Anette's job in that firm required that she interface on a high level with local Judges in addition to her regular duties, and she did so with ease. Anette is an excellent communicator, well organized, highly reliable and computer literate… She would be a tremendous asset to your firm. It is with great pleasure that I write this letter on behalf of such a deserving candidate.”
"Anette’s work ethic, dependability, and professionalism consistently surpass all expectations. Anette has excellent communication and organization skills... [she] is very good at monitoring calendars, meeting deadlines, maintaining contact with clients, drafting complaints, supporting case preparation, accomplishing goals and accepting ownership.. I am confident that she will be a tremendous asset to any organization she joins and has my highest recommendation.”
"I have known Anette since I came to work for Kolodny & Anteau, the predecessor firm for Kolodny Law Group, in June 2004... Throughout the time Anette and I worked together, I found her to be intelligent, well-organized and capable of managing many tasks at one time. Even under pressure, Anette’s demeanor remained professional and polite.”
"From the start, Anette's unique skills in drafting and responding to demand letters were evident. Her ability to effectively communicate our position and her deep understanding of construction were instrumental in successfully resolving [my small claims] case. She translated the complex history of problems with the homeowner into articulate demand letters, ensuring our communications were precise and persuasive.”
